- Speedtest.net (Ookla) ~ Flash test. Multiple servers available. Consistent testing requires same server tests.
- Meter.net ~ HTML5 / Flash test. Options for testing worldwide locations.
- BT Wholesale Speedtest ~ Flash Test. Additional diagnostics available. Worth trying if other speed tests fail.

- ThinkBroadband BQM ~ 24/7 Connection latency monitor. Use to detect line drops and other issues.
- F8lure ~ 24/7 Connection latency monitor. Monthly login required to keep test alive. Similar to TBB's BQM.
- DSL Reports Pingtest ~ Multiple locations test, with multiple grading tests for jitter.
- Meter.net Pingtest ~ Simple ping test. Multiple locations available for worldwide latency.
- Azure Datacentre Latency Test ~ Multiple locations (at once). Each additional location adds to overall latency.
- PingPlotter ~ Free ping/trace software tool. A fancy tracert with visuals. Handy for multiple DNS server tests.
